Become a SUNIR member

I wish to become a member of SUNIR and agree to respect the organization’s actions and orientations. There is no membership fee, but each member will be invited to renew their membership annually so the Member Register stays up to date.

Being a member means accepting the organization’s mission

Act as a catalyst for social, ecological and civic transformation by supporting local initiatives.

The organization’s goals according to its general bylaws

• Bring together people who wish to encourage equity, social mutual aid and environmental action.
• Encourage encounters among community actors in order to help citizen initiatives emerge.
• Offer concrete means for the community to organize mutual aid, sharing and the exchange of material and immaterial goods.
• Receive donations, legacies, goods and other contributions of the same nature in money, time, securities or real estate.

Who can become a member

• Any individual interested in the organization’s goals and activities who subscribes to its values.
• Be 18 years of age or older, or have parental authorization.
• Adhere to the organization’s mission and goals.

Involvement and renewal

After registering, members may decide their level of involvement according to their wishes. To remain on the list of members in good standing, each member will be invited to renew their registration annually by updating their information.

Membership fee

No membership fee. However, if you wish to encourage the organization, you can make a donation during activities or online.

Member benefits

• Participate in the associative life of the organization.
• Receive communications from the organization, including special activities and reports.
• Be invited to, speak at and vote during general assemblies of members.
• Stand for election and/or elect members of the board of directors.
